FR-424CM is a very similar model to the 422SM, except that it has pickups installed in H/S/H pattern, instead of the classic H/S/S. H/S/H is for the players who like more strength and power on their neck pickup, who like big and meaty tone on their lead pickups. Humbuckers on this model are made of two hot rail stacked pickups. This guarantees ferocious tone with bucket loads of sustain. Master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch complete the controls unit. Behind the pickups, Kramer installs the series standard double-locking Floyd Rose bridge. The body of this model is solid, double-cut and made of alder with flamed maple top. Neck is bolted and made of maple. 24-fret fingerboard is made of maple, as well.
