Tramp is a model from Leather Guitars, an exclusive manufacturer which makes hand-made boutique models. Their catalog consists of personalized models built by top notch luthiers. Prices are high, but the quality obtained is unrivaled. Tramp is a strat-like instrument, it comes with a solid double cutaway body made of alder. Entire body, except the carbon black pickguard is wrapped in leather. Yes, genuine luxurious leather. This model in particular features various colored parts of leather wrapped and stitched around it`s body. Nappa, nubuk and buckskin are used. Therefore, there are no classic bindings around the top of the guitar. The bridge on this model is a tremolo with six saddles and string-through construction. In the pickups department there are three pickups in H/S/S configuration. Hausell humbucker in the bridge with Klinge single coils in the middle and neck positions. Master volume and tone knobs are accompanied by the five-position blade switch. The neck is a bit more common feature, it is made of maple and attached to the body with a bolt-on joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and it sports 22 medium jumbo frets and dot position inlays. 25-1/2" scale and Schaller tuners wrap the specs list on this exclusive leather-wrapped guitar.
