1950s Guitars Electric Guitars by Michael Kelly
Michael Kelly`s 1950s series is a magnificent salute to the legendary Telecaster, the grandfather of all solid-bodied electric guitars. Models which make up the series` roster come in with varying combinations of modern and vintage features, as well as various tonewood combinations.
Hybrid 55 is 1950s series` only hybrid model (piezo and magnetic pickup systems). It is based on the stock 1955 model and rocks the classy Tiger`s Eye Burst color scheme w/chrome hardware & glossy finish. Core construction features include an alder body, flame maple top (white pickguard, maple binding), maple neck (modern C profile, bolt-on joint) and 22-fret fingerboard (medium jumbo frets, dot inlays, 25-1/2" scale, 1.69" bone nut).
Main hardware and electronics appointments include a Tele bridge, die-cast tuners and hybrid electronics system (Rockfield magnetic pickups and Fishman piezo system in the bridge).
