Hybrid series is there for the players who want an acoustic and an electric guitar, all in one. Its current lineup consists of four models and Hybrid Special is the basic option.
Hybrid Special is available in two variants - Spalted Burst and Spalted Maple. Both are finished in gloss and have chrome-plated hardware. Two stylized f-holes grace the top, one on the either side of the bridge. Core construction features include a chambered mahogany body (semi-hollow construction, flat back), spalt maple top (black/white binding, bound f-holes), mahogany neck (Standard C profile, set-in joint, 3+3 headstock), and rosewood fingerboard (22 medium jumbo frets, abalone block inlays, 24.75" scale).
Major hardware and electronics features include Grover tuners, Michael Kelly Rosewood Acoustic bridge (w/under-saddle Fishman pickup), and conventional Rockfield humbuckers (w/coil-splitting ability).
