Chrome Archtop model comes in two variants, the one with the classic two piece bridge section (tune-o-matic bridge in the front with stoptail in the back) and the Bigsby variant (tune-o-matic bridge with Bigsby vibrato and trapezoid tailpiece in the back). Other than that, these two variants are identical. The Chrome Archtop w/Bigsby is a fully hollow jazz guitar made of metal. Single-cut guitar has archtop body made of aluminum. Design and styling are taken over from the classic hollow jazz guitars. Three piece bridge section on this model is fronted with a pair of active humbuckers with series standard controls unit. The only major part made of wood is the neck and it is made of maple with series standard 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top.
