Normandy is a very special brand of electric guitars and basses, as all of their models are made with metal bodies. These are not classic steel resonators, but standard shaped electrics made of metal. Archtop series is the biggest series in the Normandy catalog and it deals with archtop guitars with hollow bodies. Obsidian Anodized Hardtail Archtop model comes with a fully hollow and single-cut guitar made of aluminum. There is no binding around the top and, of course, no top wood cover. The Neck is, however, made of maple and it is bolted to the body. Top of the body is equipped with classic "f" holes, two-piece bridge and two active humbucking pickups. Maple neck is topped with a series standard 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
