SE 24/7 breaks new grounds in PRS catalog, as it is the first seven-stringer produced by this top class manufacturer. SE 24/7 is based upon regular six-stringed SE models, but it comes with an extra string on the bass side. Thus, the bridge, pickups and the neck had to be adjusted, expanded and redesigned to match the new concept. Body of this PRS sports a familiar PRS double cut design. It`s made of mahogany base and maple top. Top cap is either flamed or quilted maple. Bridge is a hardtail with string-through construction and nickel plating. Tuners are made by PRS. Set of SE humbuckers is installed. Coil splitting is available. Wide thin neck is made of mahogany and it`s topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
