Godin is Canada`s largest and most powerful guitar manufacturer and is also a very competitive brand on the US market. Besides the main Godin catalog, there are numerous sub-brands specialized in the production of various electric and acoustic guitars. Richmond is oriented towards the Gibson-like electrics made for intermediate section of the market. Belmont series rocks the timeless SG bodies, 24-3/4" scales, 22-fret fingerboards and simple electronics. Model simply named Belmont is a solid, double-cut guitar made of mahogany. Large white pickguard covers a large portion of the top. Hardtail bridge on the top is made up of the tune-o-matic bridge and the stoptail bar. Seymour Duncan '59 is in the bridge position, while a pair of lipstick Seymour Duncan single-coils is in the bridge and neck positions. Bolted mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
