Extreme is the name of the new series of Banshee guitars. It is featured in Schecter`s 2017 section of the official web page. Thus far, a hardtail six-stringer, FR six-stringer (this one) and hardtail seven-stringer have been introduced. At first glance, Extreme series is supposed to make the Banshee range even more accessible to players worldwide, concentrating on tested and tried tonewoods & construction, as well as "home-made" hardware and electronics. The chassis of Banshee 6 FR Extreme is made of solid mahogany body, flat quilt maple top (creme binding, big plastic pickguard), thin C neck (maple-made, bolt-on joint) and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. Major hardware and electronics appointments also include a Special series Floyd Rose bridge (black chrome color), Schecter Diamond pickups (HSS configuration) and Schecter tuners.
