The Sun Valley series is Schecter`s attempt at classic 80`s Superstrat. It was introduced last year and 2018 catalog brings three more Super Shredder models. The first of them is Sun Valley Super Shredder III, the series` first three-pickup model. As expected, it rocks EMG Retro pickups in H/S/S configuration, Floyd Rose bridge (1500 series), standard 25-1/2" scale, bolt-on neck construction, and a vintage double-cut body. The Super Shredder III is currently available in Aurora Burst (w/maple fingerboard & black hardware) and Sky Burst (w/ebony fingerboard & black hardware). Both options sport gloss finish and black plastics. Other notable features include a mahogany body base, two-piece flame maple top, C-shaped maple neck, 24-fret fingerboard, and Schecter tuning machines.
