The Sun Valley series was inspired by the revival of the classic Superstrat guitar ignited by Charvel`s resurrection earlier this decade. To make sure Sun Valley does not fall into obscurity and lives up to its competition (classic Superstrat models from other brands, as well), Schecter`s luthiers conjured up a unique combination of vintage 80`s features and modern appointments. The Sun Valley SSuper Shredder FR S (2018) comes in with a solid and flat mahogany body (w/vintage pickguard on top), a maple neck (w/thin C profile, four-bolt joint, smooth finish), 24-fret ebony fingerboard (XJ frets, offset dot inlays, 25.5" scale, 1.625" locking nut), Floyd Rose Special series bridge, EMG/Schecter pickups (EMG in the bridge, Sustainiac in the neck), and Schecter tuners.
