Banshee series is being updated with several new models for 2014 and this one is the standard Banshee six-stringer with passive electronics and hardtail bridge. Body of this intermediate/upper intermediate six-stringer is solid, double cut and flat on top. Materials and hardware used on this one are standard for all six-stringed Banshees with passive electronics and fixed bridges. Alder is used as the base tonewood for the entire Banshee series and thus, for this model. On the top, Schecter installs the beautiful quilt maple cap made of two pieces of wood. On the top, there is a standard six-saddled hardtail bridge with string-through construction and black chrome plating. Seymour Duncan provides a pair of mind blowing humbuckers. Nazgul`s in the bridge, while the neck position is reserved for the brutal Sentient pickup. These two are Duncan`s response to the renewal of the super heavy passive pickups. Master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch complete the controls unit. Pickups can be split on this model through a push-pull switch. Maple/walnut neck is multi-laminated and fit with a super thin C contour in the back. On the top, there`s a standard 24-fret ebony fingerboard.
