Blackjack is one of the most versatile series in the Schecter catalog. It contains a wide range of models with various body shapes. Basic concept is common for all the models and it includes strong, simple and reliable construction with Seymour Duncan pickups (opposing the Hellraiser series with luxurious decorations and EMG pickups) and simple, aggressive styling. For 2014, lineup of this series will feature a multitude of new models and this is one of them. Blackjack A-6 is a solid and double-cut guitar with a carved top body and bolted neck. There`s only one color option in the palette. Binding used on the Blackjack A models is combined black and red. On the top, A-6 is fit with a six-saddled hardtail bridge with string-through construction. Seymour Duncan`s Nazgul and Sentient are installed in the bridge and neck positions, respectively. Volume, tone (with pus/pull switch) and a three-way toggle pickup switch are featured in the controls unit. Mahogany neck is made of three pieces of wood and is fit with a thin C contour in the back. On the top, A-6 features the series standard 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
