Blackjack and Hellraiser are sibling series, offering similar concepts based on different brands of pickups. Hellraisers use EMG pickups, while the Blackjack models come with Seymour Duncans. Also, in order to differentiate them further, Schecter has opted to give Hellraisers abalone binding and abalone inlays, while the Blackjack models took on a more discreet styling. For 2014, Blackjack series is being expanded with numerous new models and Blackjack A-6 FR is one of them. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany in it`s entirety. Also, it is paired with a mahogany neck through a standard bolt-on joint. Black/red binding is featured on this model. This Avenger is fit with a Floyd Rose bridge on the top, which replaces the stock hardtail bridge. It is matched with a locking nut on the opposite side and fronted with a pair of Seymour Duncan pickups. Nazgul is in the bridge and Sentient in the neck position. These two come with a standard set of knobs and switches, including the push-pull switch mounted onto the tone knob. Mahogany neck is made of three pieces of wood and is bolted to the body. On the top, it`s fit with a 24-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
