C-1 is the most classic and iconic Schecter guitar. It`s models and countless variants have been, and are still, the backbone of Schecter`s catalog. This model is featured in a majority of the electric guitar series, ranging from the beginner SGR lines, to the top Hellraiser, C-1 and Blackjack series. For 2014, Schecter has decided to revamp the grandad of all C models, the iconic C-1 Classic. It is now a modern electric guitar with a super versatile tone and classic styling. Solid and double-cut body of this model is made of mahogany base and quilted maple cap on top. It is bound in natural binding and finished entirely in gloss. The only color scheme available for this model is Antique, which is combined with exquisite satin gold hardware. TonePros T3BT tune-o-matic bridge is installed on the top with strings running through the body behind it. Seymour Duncan`s JB SH4 B is in the bridge position, while the SH-2 N Jazz is featured in the neck position. Master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch make up the controls. Through-body maple/walnut neck is made of five pieces of wood and it features the standard thin C contour in the back. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard is bound in natural binding and decorated with abalone binding. Grover tuners on the headstock complete the specs list for this classic six-stringer.
