Beautifully sculpted and gifted with an out-of-this-world tonal range, 2015 Classic C-1 is among the finest six-strings with Schecter logo ever made. It leans heavily onto the 2014 incarnation, keeping the changes and modifications strictly on the cosmetic side. Glossy See Thru Blue color replaces the last year`s Antique Amber and gold plating on the hardware is discarded in favor of chrome. Other than that, these two are pretty much one and the same guitar. Once again, the solid and double-cut body is made up of mahogany wings with maple/walnut neck sandwiched in between them, while the AA grade quilt maple top reprises its role from the last year. Winning teams and combinations, once made, are not changed. Thus, the classic Seymour Duncan pickup combo (JB SH-4B in the bridge and Jazz SH-2N in the neck) appears on this model as well. Master volume, master tone and five-position blade switch comprise the simple, yet very effective controls unit. Maple and walnut neck rocks the comfy C profile and is covered with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard. Continuous vine inlay, creme binding and 1.653" wide TUSQ nut complete the fingerboard.
