Damien range is located just beneath the Hellraiser and Blackjack ranges, which are Schecter`s premier series. Damien is divided into several sub-series, of which Damien Elite is the top one. For 2014, Damien Elite is being updated with several new models and Damien Elite 6 is the new basic model in the lineup. This is a solid and double-cut guitar with characteristic Schecter design and solid, durable construction. Tonewoods used on this model`s body include mahogany and flamed maple. Of course, mahogany is used as the base, while the two-piece maple cap is featured on the top. Multi-ply black binding and black hardware are featured with both the Crimson Red Burst and Trans Black Burst color schemes. Tune-o-matic bridge is alone on the top, with strings running through the body behind it. EMG`s 81 and 85 are used for this renewed and refreshed Damien Elite lineup. Master volume, master tone and three-way toggle pickup switch keep it simple and effective in the controls unit. Maple neck is made of three pieces of wood. It is bolted to the body and features the series standard 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top. Schecter`s locking tuners wrap the specs list.
