Damien Elite 8 LH is one of many new models introduced into the 2014 Damien Elite lineup. This beast has eight strings, active EMG pickups and standard Damien Elite design and styling. The MSRP Schecter has set for this model is $979, which is considerably cheaper than the matching eight-string Hellraiser, or Blackjack. This is even more of a bargain, considering the amount of quality Damien Elite models come with. This majestic eight-stringer has the now eight-string standard 28" scale (Schecter`s standard for eight-stringers), active EMG pickups and the standard 24-fret fingerboard. Mahogany and the two-piece flamed maple top comprise the body of this model. Crimson Red Burst with gloss finish and black hardware is the only color option assigned to this model. Hardtail bridge on the top is plated in black chrome and fit with eight adjustable saddles. EMG 808 humbuckers are installed in both the bridge and neck positions. Basic controls are installed with them (one volume, one tone and a three-way switch). Maple neck is made of three pieces of wood and is fit with the standard C contour in the back. Rosewood fingerboard has 2.12" wide TUSQ nut, extra jumbo frets and 16" radius.
