Damien is one of the most important electric guitar and bass ranges in Schecter catalog. It is positioned somewhat below the premier Hellraiser and Blackjack ranges. Instead of the exclusive and high class guitars Hellraiser and Blackjack deal with, Damien is equipped with their intermediate and upper intermediate alternatives. Damien Elite is the top tier in the Damien range and it is receiving a completely new lineup for 2014. Among many models, Damien Elite 8 is also introduced. It is a solid and double-cut guitar with eight strings, 28" long scale, 16" neck radius, active electronics and 24-fret fingerboard. Body of this eight-string giant is solid, double-cut and carved on the top (Standard C-8 body features). It is made of mahogany base and flamed maple top (two-piece top). Hardtail bridge on the top is fit with eight adjustable saddles and black chrome plating. EMG 808 pickups guarantee a ferocious and merciless tone with surgically precise delivery. Master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the controls. Despite it`s width, maple neck is very comfortable and smooth. This is thanks to the thin C contour it features in the back. 24-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood and features gothic dot inlays, 2.12" wide TUSQ nut and extra jumbo-sized frets. Machine heads on the headstock are Schecter`s own locking tuners.
