Solo-II is the second generation of Schecter`s single-cut guitars based on the classic LP concept. Rock and blues-oriented models come with short (24-3/4") scales and 22-fret fingerboards, while the models geared towards metal audiences have 25-1/2" scales and 24-fret fingerboards.
Solo-II Special is, quite obviously, a guitar made for rock and blues musicians who seek a good but affordable solution. It rocks a classic mahogany/rosewood chassis - mahogany body and neck and rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard features 22 XJ frets with dot inlays, 1.653" TUSQ nut and 14" radius. Schecter USA V-90 pickups bring that fat single-coil snarl classic rock and punk players loved back in the 60`s and 70`s. Wrap-around style bridge and vintage Grover tuners complete this stripped-down rocker.
