Special Edition Synyster Custom is a model from 2012 Special Edition line of models and it brings interesting color pattern of joker purple base with metallic green pinstripes. Beyond the color, this is a Synyster Custom with all of the specs common to the Synyster line of models. Special Edition Synyster Custom starts off with a solid, double cutaway body made of mahogany. The top is flat and features black bindings, but has no pickguards, as is the standard with all of the Synyster models. Other than joker purple, there are no other color options available for this Special Edition axe. Neck is made of three pieces of mahogany with slim contour, set-in joint and ultra access with contoured heel for better access to the upper frets. The fingerboard is a standard feature, it is made of ebony, and equipped with 24 extra jumbo frets and Synyster Custom inlays with a death bat at the 12th fret. The bridge option is a Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge with a locking string nut. In the pickup department, there are Seymour Duncan Custom Syn Invader passive humbuckers. They are controlled through master volume and master tone with push-pull functions. Other features include black hardware, Grover tuning machines and standard 25-1/2" scale.
