Here is an Ultra Cure VI, a Schecter-made signature model for Cure`s frontman Robert Smith. The model features an unorthodox shape somewhere in between the classic Fenders and Gibsons. Three-pickup combo, maple fingerboard and a 30" scale length set this model far apart from anything else. Schecter Ultra Cure VI is a solid bodied model made of mahogany body and maple neck, one of the most standard combos for electric guitars. The body features no binding and is available only in black color. Even the pickguard is painted in pitch-black to match the body. The neck on this model is made of three pieces of maple and features carbon fiber reinforcement rods for increased stability. The fingerboard is made of maple and sports 24 extra jumbo frets with black pearl stars and moon position inlays. The scale measures at staggering 30 inches. The pickups on this guitar are three single coils placed in bridge, middle and neck. All three pickups are Seymour Duncan SJAG-1 single coils. They are controlled through master volume, master tone and three on/off slide pickup switches. The bridge is a tune-o-matic with a stoptail bar and chrome plating.
