Solar`s V range, as it name says, houses V-shaped guitars. Currently, there are only two models, V2.6 and V2.6C. There is also one V model in the Artist range. V2.6C is the more affordable option, geared towards the players with tight budgets. Main features include a solid and beveled body, passive electronics, and set-thru construction. The body is made of mahogany base and mahogany top, with contoured edges. There`s no binding around the top, nor a pickguard on it. The neck`s fast, smooth, and very comfortable. A 24-fret ebony fingerboard tops it. Other important features include a string-thru tune-o-matic bridge, Duncan Solar humbuckers, and Grover tuning machines. Solar makes this six-string beast in Carbon Black Matte. The list price is set at 749�.
