I've had mine for about a year and all I know is I really like it . For the price you can't beat it . IMO it played better than an original 72. The 72 was obviosly better made but I just couldn't get over the sound . Being a Squier Fender had to cut corners so they wouldn't be as good as a Fender . Mine had 1 or 2 crooked screws in the pick guard . The hums were good but I for one desired an upgrade and put some GFS Retrotron Liverpools in it . Now it's just an all out screamer . Great guitar for the money but where you save you'll want to tweek. A great guitar for the money . I paid 250$ for it and IMO got way more than my money's worth . I really like it . You have the feel of a tele , the controls of a Les Paul ( and mine has a twang of a Rick or Gretsch with the pickup upgrade) . If you like bang for the buck guitars this is for you . It's no Fender but it's damn close .
