Boden 7 Custom Shop is one of several models made in Strandberg`s Custom Shop facilities in Sweden. Like its 6, 8 and 9-string Boden Custom Shop brethren, 7 is better thought of as a model family, since the array of customization options offered by Strandberg is staggering. Starting price is set at $3,750.00. The body of this exclusive axe is by default made of chambered swamp ash base and flamed maple top, though Strandberg offers a wide range of alternative materials, such as mahogany, alder, poplar (back), quilt maple, claro walnut, poplar burl and curly koa (top). Plain maple neck and birdseye maple fingerboard can be replaced with one of many options, as well. Several pickup combos are also offered. Moreover, Strandberg makes their Series 5 tremolo bridge available, along with the standard hardtail option.
