Boden 8 Custom Shop is one o the models, or better a family of models, produced in Strandberg`s home facilities in Sweden. Custom Shop models take a significantly longer time to make and, in turn, cost a lot more than the Korean-made OS models. Boden 8 Custom Shop starts at $3,850, with Strandberg offering a great level of customization. Some of the core, unchangeable features include a chambered body, original Strandberg Boden design, bolt-on neck construction, dual humbucker pickup configuration, headless neck, fanned frets and EndurNeck neck profile. Other than that, pretty much everything is up for customization. Alternative body materials, neck materials, fingerboard materials, pickup combos, fingerboard inlay designs, hardware colors, fret sizes and scale lengths are some of the available options.
