The new Fusion line expands the Boden range`s horizons, bringing jazz and fusion players into the picture. The idea behind the Fusion line is to incorporate the jazzy and clean tones into the modern rock and metal guitars Strandberg is already well known for. Boden Fusion is the basic, six-string model; it comes with a chambered body, bolt-on neck, Strandberg hardware, and Suhr electronics. The color palette is limited to two options - Honey and Black (both sport natural binding and semi-gloss finish). Main construction features include a chambered alder body, two-piece flame maple top, 5-piece maple/carbon fiber neck (w/Endurneck profile), and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (pau ferro from late 2017). Strandberg Series 5 tremolo bridge and Suhr pickups complete this super versatile axe.

Great design. But ,I gave it 4 stars for quality because the Fusion I bought had a first string buzz that was not addressed even after sending it back to Guitar Sanctuary. I had to make the nut cut depth change myself which is fine but not really expected on $2500 guitar (that is a $2500 Korean manufactured guitar that ships with a soft case) and not that easy on a guitar with a glued nut and a zero fret. I have also experienced switching issues that seemed to be the result of bare wire contacting the shielding paint. All-in-all though, this is such a brilliant design that it is still currently my favorite guitar :-)
