Metal is one of the latest additions to the Boden range; it is a line of three models (6, 7, and 8 strings), made exclusively for metal players who want that extra heavy and dark tone from their headless Boden axes. Boden Metal 7 has a chambered body, bolted neck, active electronics, and Strandberg`s own unique hardware. There are two available color variants - Black Pearl and White Pearl. Both are finished in gloss and outfitted with Cosmo Black hardware. Main construction features include a double-cut basswood body (Boden shape, flat top), maple/carbon fiber neck (5-piece neck, Endurneck profile), and ebony fingerboard (fanned frets, 20" radius, offset dot inlays, compound scale). Other notable features include Strandberg`s Series 5 fixed bridge and Fishman Fluence Modern humbucking pickups (w/coil-splitting function).
