Strandberg`s Original line of Boden guitars is still active and still going strong. The current incarnation of the series is comprised of three models, Original 6, Original 7, and Original 8 (numbers standing for string count, of course). All three feature price tags around the $2,000 mark. Boden Original 7 offers a lightweight (chambered) Boden body, bolt-on neck, compound (25.5"-26.5") scale, and Fishman electronics (six-string model is the only Original with Suhr pickups). Red, Natural, and Black color options are available. Main construction features include a swamp ash body base, 4A flame maple top (two-piece construction), a five-piece maple/carbon fiber neck, and a 24-fret fingerboard (maple, rosewood). Other notable features include a Strandberg fixed bridge w/tuners and a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern pickups.
