Strandberg`s original Boden line`s curves were inspired by reindeer antlers, while the series itself was named after a town in northern Sweden. Headless necks, hybrid necks, compound scales, and monorail bridges set the Boden line apart from anything on the market. In 2017, Strandberg reissues the series with a slightly updated set of original features. Boden Original 8 rolls in with a chambered lightweight body, bolted neck, Fishman electronics, and compound 26.5"-28" scale. Red, Black, and Natural color variants comprise the palette. Main construction features include a swamp ash body base, 4A flame maple top (two-piece top), five-piece maple/carbon fiber neck, and a 24-fret fingerboard made of maple. Hardware/electronics section sports a Series 5 fixed bridge and a set of two Fishman Fluence Modern pickups.
