Escape series is one of the core series of the Traveler Guitars catalog, as it has been around far longer than other active series. For 2014, Traveler is introducing the beautiful EG-1 Standard model. It is a solid and single-cut guitar with six strings, standard electronics, 24-3/4" scale, 21-fret fingerboard and bolted neck. Traveler offers this gorgeous six-stringer in black color with satin finish and chrome-plated hardware. On the top, there`s a fixed bridge with six saddles and a tailpiece which leads the strings beneath the body, where the tuners are located. Tuning machines can be accessed through the holes in the body. Neck is also made of mahogany (both the body and neck are made of African mahogany) and features the standard bolt-on joint. On it`s top, Traveler installs a 21-fret fingerboard made of ebonized rosewood. It has trapezoid inlays and medium-sized frets. Electronics department is fit with a full-sized humbucking pickup in the bridge position.
