Excalibur Ultra Blues is oriented towards the players who prefer blues, but still like having an all-round guitar capable of powerful tonal delivery. This model comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of two-piece alder back and flamed maple top. The top is bound in creme and finished in gloss. There are no pickguards. The bridge is a fixed one and it features a string-through construction. In the pickups department there is one humbucker in the bridge and two singles in the middle and neck positions. Master volume, master tone and five-position blade switch complete the controls unit. Three-piece maple neck features D contour and a bolt-on joint. Rosewood and maple fingerboards enjoy the equal treatment as they both come with 24 medium frets, 1.65 teflon nuts and 11.80" radius.
