ERG series is a discontinued line of electric guitars made by Yamaha. This series featured solid and double-cut guitars with a simple construction and design. Style-wise, these guitars built upon the 1980s legacy of the Soloist and RG ranges. ERG121UC2G is a model from this long-gone series. It had a solid and flat basswood body combined with a bolt-on maple neck. On the top, this affordable model rocked a non-locking tremolo bridge with string through construction and gold plating. In it`s front, Yamaha equipped ERG121 models, this one included, with a set of three pickups. Humbucker in the bridge, single-coil in the middle and another humbucker in the neck position were featured. Maple neck had a thin and fast contour, while the rosewood fingerboard had a standard set of 22 frets.
