SBG1820 is an exclusive solid-body guitar, one of the most expensive members of Yamaha`s electric guitar range (the MSRP is set at $5,100.00). Like the rest of the SBG range, 1820 is hand-made in Japan and features custom shop parts. The mainframe of this classic rocker has a solid and double-cut mahogany body base, glued-in mahogany neck, passive electronics (w/classic controls layout and a three-way switch), exclusive hardware, and lavish styling. The color palette contains three options - Brown Sunburst, Black, and Vintage White. All three sport vintage pickguards, gloss finish, and chrome hardware. Other notable features include a contoured maple top, 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood (split triangle inlays, standard 24-3/4" scale), two-piece hardtail bridge unit, and locking tuners.
