The current edition of the Yamaha SBG series sports three super-exclusive models, all based on the 1820 concept. SBG1820A has MSRP set at $5,300.00, while the SBG1820 and SBG1802 come in at $5,100.00. All three are hand-made in Yamaha`s main production facilities in Japan. SBG1802 is the only available option which features single-coil pickups - Seymour Duncan`s SP90s (in both bridge and neck positions). Other than that, 1802 is the same as 1820. Main features include a solid mahogany body base, contoured maple top (w/creme binding, vintage pickguard), mahogany neck (glued-in joint, smooth finish), 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood (split trapezoid inlays, 24-3/4" scale), two-piece hardtail bridge, and die-cast tuners. Gold TOp and Black are the available color options.
