AD222 is a beginner`s guitar from Alvarez. This model comes as a fully acoustic dreadnought guitar with non-cutaway design. Entire body is made of dao wood, which is very affordable, yet it offers strong and distinctive tone. Back, side and top are all made of it. Top panel is equipped with white binding, tortoise shell pickguard and single circle rosette. Natural is the only color available for this model and it comes with a high gloss finish. Vintage theme on this six-stringed dread is completed with a set of six chrome-plated tuning machines installed on the headstock. There are no electronics installed on this model, whatsoever. Neck is a standard one and it`s attached to the body with a 14th fret dovetail joint. Rosewood fingerboard has 20 frets with a custom 12th fret diamond inlay.
