Alvarez`s Artist series is located between the Regent (beginner models) and Masterworks (intermediate and upper intermediate classes). It offers a huge variety of both acoustic and acoustic-electric models (dreadnought, grand concert, folk body shapes). AF30 is the most basic and the most affordable Artist series folk model. The MSRP is set at $379 and the color palette consists of only one option - Natural (w/gloss finish, black pickguard, dot inlays, chrome hardware, simple rosette). The body is made of mahogany back & sides (laminated, of course) and solid A-grade Sitka spruce top (A30 models are the cheapest solid-tops in Alvarez catalog). The neck`s made of mahogany and it features gloss finish, 14th fret dovetail joint, and a rounded contour. 21-fret rosewood fingerboard (w/24-13/16" scale, bone nut) and rosewood bridge complete this low-cost steel-stringer.
