Classical guitars usually come in fully acoustic package, for not many manufacturers are open to the idea of electronics being installed on classics. But there are notable exceptions, especially among American brands. Alvarez is one of them and CY128CE is a single cut acoustic-electric nylon-stringer. It comes with a body made of rosewood back and sides and spruce sound board. Several layers of binding surround the edges of the sound board, which is decorated with a classical rosette. Natural color is the only option and this model comes finished in gloss. Classically-shaped bridge is made of rosewood and tuning machines on the headstock are plated in gold. Alvarez NR system of amplification is utilized on this nylon-stringer. Mahogany neck is topped with a 19-fret ebony fingerboard.
