Yairi Classic Series in Alvarez catalog is dedicated to the pursuit of the ultimate tone for the classical guitars. CY140 is a flagship model and it has a classic, non-cutaway body made of cedar top and Brazilian rosewood back and sides. It comes in natural color with gloss finish and black top binding. The bridge on this model is classically shaped and made of rosewood. CY140 features no amplification. The Neck is made of mahogany and it has a dovetail joint at the 12th fret. The fingerboard is made of ebony and features standard 19 frets, no position inlays and 2" wide nut. Other features include: gold plated hardware, 25-1/2" scale, classical tuning pegs and wood mosaic sound hole rosette. The price range for CY140 is around $1,200.
