Classical guitars are largely outnumbered by steel-stringers in Alvarez catalog, but the ones featured are high quality nylon stringers. CYM is classical acoustic guitar from Alvarez Yairi series. This series offers some of the best guitars which bear Alvarez name. It is a non-cutaway and fully acoustic guitar made of rosewood, mahogany, cedar and ebony. Rosewood comes on back and side panels of this model and it`s use is restricted to the body. Cedar is used for the sound board, which is it`s exclusive function for classical guitars. Mahogany neck has a standard contour and 12th fret dovetail joint. And finally, ebony is used for the bridge and fingerboard. Bridge has a standard classical shape and fingerboard is equipped with a set of 19 frets and flat radius.
