Alvarez Fusion series offers very interesting concept of classical and dreadnought guitars without a sound hole. FC7603 is a classically shaped nylon-stringer with a single cutaway design. Body back and side panels are made of mahogany and the top is made of cedar. Top is bound in ivoroid binding and finished in gloss. There are no pickguards or rosettes, as there are no sound holes featured. Bridge is a classical one and it`s made of rosewood. Fishman provides the electronics for Alvarez FCC7603 with it`s Aura being the only amplification option on this model. Neck on this nylon-stringer is attached to the body with a dovetail joint set at the 12th fret and it`s topped with a rosewood fingerboard. 19 frets feature no position inlays.
