RD26 is one of the basic models of the Regent series, along with RC26 and RF26. All three are fully acoustic guitars with non-cutaway bodies, standard scalloped X bracing, simple styling, and stock hardware and electronics. RD2 is a full-sized dreadnought, made for players who want a big, robust guitar with a big, robust tone. The MSRP is set at $299, which makes R26 one of the most attractive beginner options, as well as a sound choice for a backup guitar. Like the majority of its series mates, RD26 is available only in Natural, with gloss finish, black pickguard, chrome hardware, and white binding. Core construction features include mahogany back & sides, spruce top (w/black pickguard), mahogany neck, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard, bi-level rosewood bridge, and die-cast tuners.
