B.C. Rich`s line of five steel-stringed dreadnoughts kicked off at 2015 NAMM. It started off with four acoustic-electric models and one completely acoustic model. BCR2 is the most affordable acoustic-electric (BCR1 has no electronics and is the opening model of the series).
BCR2 has a single-cut body made of sapele back/sides and a spruce sound board on top. Trans Black with natural binding, satin finish and chrome hardware is the only available option. Mahogany neck rocks the modern C profile, 14th fret dovetail joint and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays.
BCR2`s electronics section features the famous Fishman Sonicore system - under-saddle transducer pickup with a preamp. Other major features include a fixed rosewood bridge and Rich die-cast tuners.
