B.C. Rich has recently (NAMM 2015 in Anaheim, Ca.) introduced the affordable BCR line of acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars. Four of them feature Fishman electronics, while the basic BCR1 is intended for unplugged play only.
BCR6 serves as the current series flagship model. It comes with a non-cutaway dreadnought body (full-sized, deep and with modern scalloped X bracing) made of rosewood and spruce. Three rosewood panels with abalone purfling between them make the back, sides are also made of rosewood and the white/abalone-bound top is made of solid spruce. Mahogany neck rocks the 14th fret dovetail joint, modern C profile and a standard 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
Fishman`s Sonicore system (under-saddle pickup with preamp) gives this beauty a great amplified tone. Fixed rosewood bridge and gold-plated Grover tuners complete this affordable steel-string (costs around $650).
