In the new five-piece BCR series BCR4 has the role of second in command. It is a single-cut dreadnought guitar with simple construction, vintage design and a traditional steel-string tone.
BCR4 kicks off with a deep, flat-top body made of maple back and sides and a solid cedar top. Warm-sounding sapele (one of several low-budget alternatives to mahogany) and dark, strong, bassy influence of red cedar create a big, warm, well articulated tone. The neck is made of mahogany, has a modern C profile in the back and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
Electronics compartment is equipped with a Fishman Sonicore system (under-saddle transducer pickup plus preamp). Other cool features include fixed rosewood bridge and B.C. Rich die-cast tuners.
