CJ is Cort`s series of acoustic-electric guitars dedicated to jumbo sized and shaped models. CJ5X is one of three models which constitute this series and it comes with a single-cutaway construction. Back and sides on this model are made of mahogany and the top is made of spruce. Top panel on this model is bound in ivoroid binding and equipped with a single circle rosette. Entire body of CJ5X is finished in gloss. The bridge is made of rosewood and it sports a belly shape. Neck is made of a single piece of mahogany and it comes with a comfortable C contour. It is attached to the body with a dovetail joint and topped with a rosewood fingerboard. Fingerboard is equipped with 20 frets and over-sized dot position inlays.
