MR500E is a brand new dreadnought guitar, introduced at 2016 NAMM. It belongs to the acclaimed MR series, Cort`s premier series in classic modern acoustic guitar class. It is an acoustic-electric model, equipped with Cort`s own electronics.
MR500E kicks off with a full-sized dreadnought body with a single cutaway and glued-in neck. Back and sides are made of mahogany, while the top is made of spruce. The mentioned top is solid, covered with a tortoise pickguard and bound in white binding. Mahogany neck is attached to the body at the 14th fret and features a rounded back profile. 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and standard-sized frets sits on top of the neck. Rosewood bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
