Currently, Epiphone offers only three banjo models and MB-250 is the premier model of the line. It has a body made of mahogany with Remo head and aluminum brackets. It is available in natural color with gold plated hardware. The bridge on this model is a gold plated roller bridge and i paired with a trapezoid tailpiece. This one is fully acoustic instrument and features no preamps, pickups or mics. The neck on MB-250 banjo is made of mahogany. It is a C-shaped neck with a set in joint. the fingerboard is made of rosewood and features 22 medium sized frets, acrylic trapezoid position inlays and 1.50" wide synthetic bone nut. This five stringer also features die-cast tuning machines, 26-1/4" scale and a one-piece body. The list price is set at $999.
