Almost 130 years of tradition and experience runs through Washburn instruments, as the brand was established in 1883. Within it`s ranks, Washburn acoustics catalog also features a signature series. It currently consists of two models. One is a mandolin, and the other is a banjo. B 160 is made for Sonny Smith. This is a five-stringed banjo which comes with a standard shaped body. Body is made of maple and encased in steel rim with an arm-rest. Bridge on this model is made of rosewood and it`s paired with a trapezoid tailpiece. Set-in Maple neck is topped with 22 fret rosewood fingerboard. Die-cast tuners and 25" scale wrap the specs.
