Zenith is a modern/vintage archtop guitar with 1930s styling, aged looks & hardware and modern electronics. It belongs to the newly formed Epiphone Masterbilt Century collection, along with four other models (De Luxe, De Luxe Classic, Zenith Classic and Olympic). They all come with the same tonewoods selection and same electronics. Also, all five models feature historic headstocks, inlays, tuners and longitudinal bracing. As for the color palette, Zenith is available in two variants: Vintage Natural and Vintage Sunburst. Both options have aged gloss finish and aged nickel hardware. Zenith will cost $739 (some $150 less than De Luxe models). Zenith comes in with a compact, non-cutaway body and a glued-in neck. Body measurements are:11.6" upper bout width, 9.4" waist, 16" lower bout and 20.125" body length. Back and sides are made of flamed maple (laminated), while the top is made of solid spruce. Five-piece maple/mahogany neck has rounded C profile in the back and 20-fret ebony fingerboard on top (snowflake inlays, medium frets, bone nut). Shadow NanoFlex under-saddle pickup and eSonic preamp form the series` standard electronics unit. Floating bridge, vintage Epiphone tuners and dual-action truss rod complete the specs list.
